Manufacturing Sector

Manufacturing sector of India comprises of manufacturing of machinery of equipment, electrical and metal products, cement, building and construction material, rubber and plastic products and automation technology products. This industry is also one of the largest growing in the world. The GOI is also focusing on export oriented policy for electronic products. The GOI has also set up the Electronic Hardware Technology parks, Special Economic Zones (SEZs).
